It blows my mind how well received this artwork has been… I made Breathe I, 100x100cm, acrylic on linen, for an exhibition titled Breathe, at Fitzrovia Gallery in London in 2021. The painting was sold before the exhibition opened. The second one Breathe II, was requested by a Collector in April 2022 during London Art Fair.
I completed Breathe No III in 2023.

Something in a spirit of Halloween. 🎃
Spiritually, Halloween symbolizes transformation, the cycle of life and death, and the opportunity to confront and release fears or negative energy.
Bear has been used throughout history to represent many things. My little Bears, were inspired by some the Native American tribes to whom bear signifies a master healer as well as it’s a creature who’s respected for it’s ferociousness in protecting it’s young.
My using bears and working into their body – refers to the hibernation state in which women have been placed in as a result of social conditioning.
The fabric of which the bear is made came from a project called City Of Angels . I cutout images from over 100 magazines for women, I then made a collage using images of all the women used for beauty advertisements which I then worked into with my circular technique.
In the Middle Ages – women who exhibited insight, healing powers and would use their intuition were accused of witchcraft, often tortured, hanged and/or burned.

I did a little art-seeing-marathon this weekend in London town. Although each year this week to me is very much about seeing art and normally I share images of artworks I find interesting… This year I decided to post, for change photos with some new and old friends!
Frankly if not for my beautiful female friends motivating me – my weekend would have not been as great! As until a week ago I’ve been in bed with a monumental flu – which is really not like me… so this year more then ever I have been connecting and re-connecting with some incredible women – who have taken the time to be loving and supportive.

I reconnected with my lovely friend , fellow model and now a brilliant art dealer and curator @monika_bialkowska__ as well as met in person @larryxavierofficial who’s music just makes everything more vibrant.

Then spend Sunday at the Somerset House visiting @154artfair to see some spectacular African Art a curtesy of a very talented figurative artist @novawilliamsart and my beautiful friend and talented tatoo artist @anjapilarczyk 🙌🏻 who’s generosity blows my mind ❤️

I would love to share something that I have been doing for quite sometime; It is a very important part of my art practice.
As a child, nearly everyday I’d walk in nature.
What I was doing unconsciously already by age 12 was “forest bathing”, known in Japan as shinrin yoku. This Japanese practice is a process of relaxation; The simple method of being calm and quiet amongst the trees, observing nature around you whilst breathing deeply can help both adults and children de-stress and boost health and wellbeing in a natural way.
Here is this mornings walk, before I go to my studio. It was also very nice to have a company of Isabella and a friend. 🍀

My work has always been about connection, and interconnectedness.
Quantum Mechanics states that the Universe is made up of space filled with fields of vibration, interconnected, unified and in constant communication, where distance and time are of no consequence; where one end of the Universe moves connected and in relationship to the other end and everything in between is a grand movement or dance held in space. In truth then, our lives and indeed everything in the entire universe are not only all connected, but absolutely so, with no separation.
