My work has always been about connection, and interconnectedness.
Quantum Mechanics states that the Universe is made up of space filled with fields of vibration, interconnected, unified and in constant communication, where distance and time are of no consequence; where one end of the Universe moves connected and in relationship to the other end and everything in between is a grand movement or dance held in space. In truth then, our lives and indeed everything in the entire universe are not only all connected, but absolutely so, with no separation.

Took over 7 months to complete this. Commissions are always the most demanding in it’s complexity. It’s a compromise between what Collector envisages and where the artwork will take me. But what a privilege.

“Colour, its use and its impact on the viewer has always played an important role in Stepnik’s work.
Breathe: Joy, is part of series called “Breathe”, Side of Malgosia Stepnik’s art practice which is inspired by the Eastern traditions of Buddhist philosophy of life and findings of the optical illusion movement.
This artwork has been designed to inspire and stimulate sensation of joy through the interplay of bright colour palette juxtaposed with white pearlescent background encouraging sense of calm. The circular shape of the artwork and the
carefully applied multicoloured circular elements signify circle of life and unity.

Today was a good day. Saying good-bye to a friend.
Regent’s Park rose garden was marvellous! There are around 100 beds with all different types of roses, we were stopping and smelling some (many). Must have looked hilariously wierd! 😅😂

@judychicago at @serpentinegallery exhibition was fantastic, so good to see Chicago’s poignant work. Referring to womanhood but also nature and the need to protect it. Made me appreciate my life in The Cotswolds and the effort I put into creation of my garden. 🍀🌟
